VDF School’s admission procedure is as per the rules and regulations prescribed by D.T.E. (Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State). The applicants will have to abide by the rules and decisions taken by D.T.E. from time to time.
The Tuition Fees payable will be as per the decisions of the ShikshanShulkSamiti. The fees can be revised on receipt of the guidelines given by the Supreme Court/High Court of India and/or the ShikshanShulkSamiti.
Admission is strictly on the basis of inter se merit and as per procedures laid out in the Information Brochure MHT-CET issued by Directorate of Technical Education. The applicants should refer to the D.T.E. website (www.dte.org.in) for obtaining detailed information about these procedures, rules and regulations.
After all the seats are filled up and/or the admission process is over, no claim for admissions shall be entertained on any ground whatsoever. The last date of admissions declared by the Office of D.T.E. shall be strictly observed.

The candidates themselves have to be present at the counseling session for allocation of seats. They will then have to submit all original certificates/documents along with the prescribed fees. Failure of submission of original certificates and/or payment of fees, as mentioned above, within the specified period shall lead to cancellation of admission.
On confirmation of admission after payment of fees, the candidate will be governed by the Rules and Regulations of Discipline and Conduct of the Institution, Swami RamanandTeerth, Marathwada University, Nanded, currently in force and as prescribed by the competent authority from time to time.
Every student and his/her parent/guardian has to sign an undertaking before he/she is actually admitted to the college. This undertaking covers different behavioral and disciplinary facets.
The candidate passing the qualifying examination, other than H.S.C. Examination (XII Std) of Maharashtra State Board, and admitted to any course in Engineering at this college will have to produce the eligibility certificate from the Swami RamanandTeerthMarathwada University, Nanded, to which the college is affiliated, before his/her admission.
Further clarification in these matters may be obtained from the institute’s office.
Notwithstanding anything contained in the Rules, if the state government takes any policy decision pertaining to FE/FY admission, then the same shall be brought into effect at that point in time as per the directives from the government from time to time.
If the final fee approved by the ShikshanShulkSamiti is less than the interim fees collected, the difference will be refunded within a period of four weeks. Every admitted student has to give an undertaking that if the final fee approved is more than the collected fee, the students will pay the additional fee as per the rules.
Eligibility criteria for Maharashtra State Candidates and outside Maharashtra State Candidates for admission to first year of degree course in Engineering:
Candidate should have passed the HSC (Std.XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics and secured minimum 45% marks i.e. not less than 135 marks out of 300 marks in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics added together (Maximum of marks obtained in Biology/Mathematics shall be considered for the purpose of addition).
The eligibility of the candidates passing the HSC (Std. XII) or its equivalent exam. from a school/college/Examination Board situate outside India shall be further decided by the University Authorities to which the candidate is admitted. Hence such candidates are advised to get their eligibility verified by the respective University Authorities before seeking admission to the Pharmacy degree course in the State of Maharashtra.
The candidate belonging to this type Stated in rule 1.2, is not required to appear for the MT-CET.
Eligibility criteria for Candidates who are sons/daughters of Defence Service Personnel:
In addition to the basic eligibility criterion mentioned in rule no.1.1, candidates who have appeared & obtained a non zero score in the MT-CET and satisfying any one of the following criterions are eligible to seek admission against seats for sons/daughters of Defence service personnel.
Candidate is a son/daughter of ex-service personnel who is domiciled in MaharashtraState (Type Def-1).
Candidate is a son/daughter of active service personnel who is domiciled in MaharashtraState (Type Def-2).
Candidate is a son/daughter of active service personnel (Type Def-3) –
Who is transferred to Maharashtra State but is not domiciled in Maharashtra State
Who is not domiciled in Maharashtra State but his/her family is stationed in Maharashtra State under the provision of retention of family accommodation at the last duty station on the grounds of children’s’ education, provided further that, such candidate should have appeared and passed the HSC (Std.XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination from a school/college situate in the State of Maharashtra.
Note: This provision is NOT available to the children of CIVILIAN STAFF who is working/ who has worked in the Indian Defence Service.
Eligibility criteria for Candidates who are Physically Handicapped:
In addition to the basic qualification mentioned in rule no. 1.1, candidate who has appeared & obtained a non zero score in the MT-CET and suffering from any one of the following disability is eligible to seek admission against seats for Physically Handicapped candidates [Maharashtra State candidates of Type A, B and D are only eligible to apply for admission against these seats]
Candidate who is visually impaired (blind) candidate (P1) Candidate who is speech & hearing impaired (deaf & dumb) candidate (P2)
Candidate who is with orthopedic disorders, learning disabilities, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphica, Spastic (P3).
Note: The certificate (proforma F/F-1) should clearly state that the extent of disability is more than 40% and the disability is permanent in nature.
Eligibility criteria of Candidates who have passed/passing Diploma in Pharmacy and seeking admission to First Year of Pharmacy:
Diploma holders who have passed the Diploma course in Pharmacy with minimum of 50% marks and medium of instruction as English from AICTE approved Polytechnics.
To resolve a tie i.e. more than one candidate securing equal aggregate marks in Final year of the Diploma exam, following order of preference shall be adopted: marks in Mathematics at SSC, Grand Total at SSC.
Eligible Diploma candidates shall be considered for Admission against the Institute level seats in Unaided Private Institutes only. The details of the admission process for filling seats are specified in Annexure-II of brochure.
Such Diploma candidates are not eligible to appear for the MT-CET.
